Halloween 1999

With lots of help from my brothers & sister-in-laws we quickly decorated for Halloween this year. Our werewolf was made from an oscillating fan sitting in a trashcan covered with a rain poncho and pvc arms. The shoulders were built up using 2liter pop bottles slid over the pvc. The motor overheated due to lack of ventilation. The ghost on the basketball pole was a rain poncho with a Sears fluorescent trouble light hanging under it, mask and hat. The mailbox was a plastic, you-stuff-it scarecrow and a wig.

Our neighbors were tossing the dryer so we put in a Frankenstein head and red light with a hand holding door. The pumpkin on top was lit using a fluorescent flashlight (worked great). The witch was quickly made from "Home Haunters Handbook 1" by "Terror Syndicate" using the Bush Jumper Zombie plans and a cheap Kmart mask. I really liked that mask. I didn't have enough air to keep it running as I didn't have a compressor, only a portable air tank. We ran down to a neighbor's house to fill up. Then he started doing it for us. Two high school boys acted like dummies and scared lots of kids.
